They Left Their Art in San Francisco

Randall Brandt, who manages the extensive Web site Golden Gate Mysteries, has alerted us to what sounds like a fascinating new exhibit in the Bernice Layne Brown Gallery of the Doe Library on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley. He explains:

It’s called “Bullets Across the Bay: The San Francisco Bay Area in Crime Fiction” and explores the mystery, detective, and crime fiction history of the Bay Area. In conjunction with the exhibit, there will also be a special edition of the Library’s Story Hour series featuring an all-star panel discussion of local authors Eddie Muller, Kelli Stanley, and Lucha Corpi, moderated by Janet Rudolph. This event is free and open to the public and will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Doe Library.
