Today is the last day to enter to win a free advance reader copy of the thriller Volk’s Shadow, by Brent Ghelfi. Just send us the titles (and author names) from one or more Russian-set crime novels/thrillers that you’ve enjoyed in the past, along with a sentence or two about what you found appealing in those books. Your choices can be either new or old.
Contest entries should be e-mailed to jpwrites@sprynet.com. Include your full name and snail-mail address in the body of the note. And in the subject line, write “Book Contest.” We’ll pick the five winners at random and announce them here on Wednesday.
Participation in this contest has been somewhat lower than expected, so your odds of winning a copy of Volk’s Shadow are actually higher than you might think.
