Talk Freely Among Yourselves

The crime-fiction community continues to find ways to communicate online (which might be the ideal set-up for writers, who are by traditionally reclusive). Six months ago, Aussie author Daniel Hatadi booted up the social networking spot Crimespace, which has turned out to be quite popular. And now Tom Piccirilli (Midnight Road) introduces The Big Adios. With a moniker that suggests an unholy coupling of novels by Raymond Chandler (The Big Sleep) and Ken Kuhlken (The Loud Adios), The Big Adios is described as a discussion board where people can “talk about crime books, movies and all things murderous.” The moderators are Russ Dickerson and David T. Wilbanks, with Piccirilli weighing in on nearly every subject so far. Free registration is required.
