The Peculier Half Dozen

After announcing their longlist of nominees for the 2007 Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award, officials from England’s upcoming Harrogate Crime Writing Festival have now announced the shortlist of six contenders:

All Fun and Games Until Somebody Loses an Eye, by Christopher Brookmyre
Blood and Honey, by Graham Hurley
Cold Granite, by Stuart MacBride
The Dead Place, by Stephen Booth
The Death Ship of Dartmouth, by Michael Jecks
Two-Way Split, by Allan Guthrie

This year’s award winner will be announced during the Harrogate festival, July 19-22.
