From The Washington Post comes news that Carolyn Hougan, who wrote novels under her own name (such as Shooting in the Dark, 1984), as well as thrillers with her husband, under the pseudonym “John Case,” has died in Virginia. She was 63 years old. The latest John Case novel, Ghost Dancer, is among the nominees for this year’s Dashiell Hammett Prize.
