I’m currently in the mad midst of assembling my list of new crime, mystery, and thriller works due out over the first three months of this year; with any luck, that will be posted early next week.
In the meantime, George Easter, the editor of Deadly Pleasures Mystery Magazine, has put together his own collection of the “170 Most Anticipated Mysteries and Thrillers of 2024.” His choices include fresh works by the late Mo Hayder, Walter Mosley, Chris Whitaker, Stacy Willingham, Peter May, Duane Swierczynski, Simon Mason, Iris Yamashita, David Downing, Tana French, Thomas Mullen, Sulari Gentill, Anthony Horowitz, Mary Kubica, Ajay Chowdhury, Kim Hays, Sara Paretsky, and, well, that only takes us as far as April.
