Today marks the start of Hanukkah, the annual eight-day Jewish festival. To celebrate this occasion, Mystery Fanfare’s Janet Rudolph has put together a brief roster of related mystery novels, short stories, and anthologies. Everything from Harry Kemelman’s Saturday the Rabbi Went Hungry and Barbara Fradkin’s Beautiful Lie the Dead to Libi Astaire’s The Latke in the Library and Other Mystery Stories for Chanukah. You will find them all here.
Rudolph has also updated her lengthy rundown of Christmas-associated crime, mystery, and thriller novels. They’re divided into three sets, according to their authors’ last names: A-E, F-L, and M-Z.
