Just over two weeks ago, Jeffrey Marks--who’s in the midst of composing a biography of Erle Stanley Gardner--posted a list of his 10 favorite Perry Mason novels. Today he follows up with a rundown of his five favorite entries in another Gardner series, this one starring mismatched Southern California private eyes Bertha Lam and Donald Cool. Check it out here.
