Sleuth and Consequences

You may have been too busy in other endeavors to notice, but over the last couple of days the Web has been filled with tributes to classic film and television gumshoes. Hosted by Movies, Silently, the 2014 “Sleuthaton” offers many pieces that should be of interest to Rap Sheet readers. Subjects range from Basil Rathbone’s Sherlock Holmes and the Miss Marple mysteries with Margaret Rutherford to Johnny Staccato and the Joel and Garda Sloane “Fast” mysteries.
