Arnaldur Indridason has won the 2013 RBA International Prize for Crime Writing for his book Skuggasund. In addition to the honor of winning the Spanish award, he will receive €125,000.Crime Time offers a bit more information on this win.
Skuggasund, which loosely translates into Silhouette Swimming, will be published in November in the author’s native Icelandic and in Spanish; no date has been set for an English translation of the book.
