Child Takes It Like a Man

Ali Karim, The Rap Sheet’s generous and energetic British correspondent, was on hand during last evening’s Dagger Awards presentations in London. He has now sent along the video embedded below, which shows author Lee Child speaking in response to his receiving this year’s Diamond Dagger from the Crime Writers’ Association. The 2012 Diamond Dagger winner, Frederick Forsyth (who can be seen in the right of the frame, wearing a gray suit) presented Child with his prize. “Though this clip won’t be appearing at the Sundance Film Festival,” Ali writes, “I hope you enjoy it.”
