My first comment is that it is really a disservice to the novels to mix them with the movies and TV shows. I hope these books will find new readers. I've been reading them in order and have finished 12, I think. They are definitely uneven, but the best ones, like Death of a Citizen, are very good. Helm is a truly cold-blooded character. Perhaps your first trivia question might be what his family origin was.
