“Made It, Ma, Top o’ the World!”*

Were you aware that there’s a James Cagney Blogathon going on all this week, hosted by R.D. Finch’s The Movie Projector? The festivities began on Monday and will continue through Friday. A rundown of the offerings thus far can be found here.

Included among today’s half-dozen fascinating posts are this one about the 1936 flick G Man, and this one looking back at “roles Cagney turned down” (could you really picture him substituting for Errol Flynn in The Adventures of Robin Hood?).
