It was 36 years ago today, on February 27, 1977, that author John Dickson Carr--an American recognized as being an expert developer of locked-room mysteries--died in South Carolina at age 70. His granddaughter and fellow author Shelly Dickson Carr
observes this anniversary in her new blog, which also promises to tell more stories about Carr in the near future. I look forward to reading those.
