Did You Win “The House of Silk”?

I’m about to make four crime-fiction fans very happy, and that’s about the best thing I could hope to accomplish today.

As you all know, over the last week The Rap Sheet has been soliciting entries in a contest to give away four free copies of Anthony Horowitz’s new Sherlock Holmes novel, The House of Silk--all signed by the author. Out of more than 125 entries, I have now selected our winners, completely at random. They are:

• Mark Skertic of Munster, Indiana
• Lauren Kraul of Tallahassee, Florida
• Corey Redekop of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
• Keith Hart of Citrus Heights, California

These lucky readers should soon receive their copies of Horowitz’s historical thriller, sent by the fine folks at Mulholland Books.

If you were among the many people who entered this drawing, but did not win, there’s no need to fret: We should have another such giveaway organized in the near future.

And thanks to everybody who, while sending in their contact information to enter this contest, also took the time to add a note of appreciation for The Rap Sheet. Composing this blog can be intellectually stimulating, and it even brings me the occasional prize. But hearing from individual readers about how much they enjoy the work presented on this page is a reward surpassing all others.
