Down to Cases
I don’t know about you, but until today I hadn’t seen a trailer for Case Histories, the BBC-TV adaptation of Kate Atkinson’s Jackson Brodie private-eye series. That show was broadcast in Britain in six parts, but will be reconfigured into three feature-length episodes to run in the States on PBS, beginning next month. The trailer is here.

Crumbs I missed this whole series. Never even saw the trailer! It was shown on a Monday night at 11.00pm, what mad person does the telly schedules at the BBC? There has been very little decent stuff on at weekends so what on earth are they doing putting this on so late at night. What a set of allies!
Never mind George Gentley is back for a few programmes so they are not all daft. ITV has a new series of DCI Banks and more Inspector Lewis in the pipeline.
On the lighter side Doc Martin is back too as dour as ever so it's not all X Factor & Strictly thank goodness!
