A Birth Announcement of Sorts

Who says that print is dead? This news release was dispatched my way by Iowa editor John Kenyon:

I am excited to announce the creation of Grift Magazine, a new publication that will feature crime fiction, reviews, interviews and more. The print version of the magazine will debut in February 2012, and will appear three times yearly.

In addition, griftmagazine.com will be home to more content that will include flash fiction, reviews, interviews and news from the world of crime fiction. It is currently a work in progress.

I will edit the magazine and site. You probably know me as a contributor to your site, an inquisitor for my Web site, Things I’d Rather Be Doing, a fan of your work, or perhaps all three.

The print magazine will be designed by Tod Foley of Tod Foley of todfoleydesign.com.

I, for one, look forward to welcoming Grift to publishing circles.
