Shortlists of nominees for a variety of 2011 Dagger Awards, to be presented by the British Crime Writers’ Association, were
announced last week. We’re scheduled to have winners by Friday, October 7. But between now and October 5, the British public is invited to cast ballots for the ITV3 People’s Bestseller Dagger. Here are the contenders:
• The Sixth Man, by David Baldacci (Macmillan)
• Worth Dying For, by Lee Child (Bantam)
• Good As Dead, by Mark Billingham (Little, Brown)
• Dead Man’s Grip, by Peter James (Macmillan)
• Before the Poison, by Peter Robinson (Hodder)
