Back when American actor Peter Graves died in March 2010, I wrote a post for The Rap Sheet recalling his work on Mission: Impossible and The Underground Man (a TV pilot based on Ross Macdonald’s novel of the same name), and noting that he’d also been involved in the unsuccessful launching of a program titled Call to Danger. But I didn’t really know much about that last project.
Well, the good folks at The HMSS Weblog have dug up additional information about Call to Danger, along with a couple of video clips from two of the pilots for that show. Someday I hope to actually see these films, the second of which featured a theme by Morton Stevens (who also wrote the themes for Police Woman, Matt Helm, and Hawaii Five-O).
