The Web’s “forgotten books” offerings seem somewhat more modest in number than usual this morning, but those selections are nonetheless quite strong.
In addition to Col Bury’s endorsement on this page of Switch, by William Bayer, the crime novel choices include Live Bait for Murder, by William Herber; Masters of the Maze, by Avram Davidson; The Flaxborough Crab, by Colin Watson; Many a Slip, by Freeman Wills Crofts; The Burglar, by David Goodis; and The Music Lovers, by Jonathan Valin. Patti Abbott hosts three more series write-ups in her blog--one of which applauds Past Caring, by Robert Goddard--and offers a full listing of today’s participating Web sites.
