Valentines of All Sorts

Today is of course Valentine’s Day, so what more appropriate post could there be than Janet Rudolph’s rundown of Valentine’s-related mysteries? Well, perhaps only John D.’s reminder that today also marks the 80th anniversary of Chicago’s St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, public outrage over which eventually caused the U.S. government to concentrate on bringing down gangster Al Capone.
