Listen up, Mannix lovers: TV Shows on DVD reports that the second season of that 1960s-1970s Mike Connors series will be released on January 6. The second season, you might remember, is the one in which Joe Mannix ditched the high-tech investigative firm for which he originally worked, and set off as a private agent, with a new secretary, Peggy Fair (Gail Fisher).
While I haven’t yet had a chance to rent and watch the first volume of episodes from the debut season of Burke’s Law on DVD, already there’s word that the second volume of that Gene Barry series is scheduled for release on November 18. I guess I’d better set aside some viewing time between now and Christmas.
