Three, One to Child

Congratulations are due Lee Child, who debuted on this week’s New York Times Bestseller List for paperback fiction at No. 1 with Bad Luck and Trouble, a January Magazine favorite book of 2007. This success comes right after Child, in the UK, hit both No. 1 fiction positions, with the hardcover of Nothing to Lose as well as the mass-market release of Bad Luck and Trouble. Despite the latter now having slipped a few points on UK charts, Nothing to Lose remains the top fiction seller in Britain. I look forward to seeing how it fares when it crosses the Atlantic at the end of this month.

And speaking of Child, author Elaine Flinn (Deadly Vintage) gathers a bunch of crime-fiction bloggers, writers, and reviewers together to grill Child at her blog Evil-E.
