Now Appearing in the Center Ring ...

Author, blogger, culture critic, and all-around generous guy Bill Crider is the host of the latest Carnival of the Criminal Minds. “There are no sideshows in this carnival, just main attractions, that is, links to other crime fiction blogs so you can check ’em out,” promises Crider, as he runs through what looks like his personal list of daily blog-browsing highlights (including The Rap Sheet, I am proud to say). You’ll find all of Crider’s “main attractions” here.

Next stop for the carnival: the blog written by Barbara Fister, who got this movable feast of criminous plenty rolling in the first place.

By the way, it doesn’t appear as part of his carnival post, but Crider also directs us today to a list of the “Top 100 April Fools Day Hoaxes of All Time.” The left-handed Whopper? The eruption of Mount Edgecumbe? Nixon for president? I could spend all day investigating these selections, but then who would the fool be?
