Black and Read All Over

We were so occupied yesterday with Gary Phillips’ new serial novel in The Nation magazine, that we forgot to mention the debut this last Sunday of Irish author John Banville’s own serialized crime story (written under his pen name “Benjamin Black”) in The New York Times Magazine. Titled The Lemur, Banville/Black’s yarn is set to run for 15 weeks. You can find the first installment here.
