If I was feeling guilty before about having not read all of the crime-fiction classics, I’m now doubly encumbered with regret for having consumed only part of one of the works Walter Mosley (Blonde Faith) lists for Newsweek as his “five most important books.” Sheesh! At this rate of literary shaming, I’ll be cowering in a corner before the week’s up.
