There Are Spies Everywhere
For fans of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. who are having trouble waiting for the complete set of that 1964-1968 TV series to be released on DVD, as it will be on November 27, here’s some relief. Vince Keenan reports in his blog that tomorrow, “Tuesday, November 6 is U.N.C.L.E. day on Turner Classic Movies. Eight two-part episodes of the show were edited into feature films, and TCM will air all of them beginning at 6 a.m. Eastern.” The lineup begins with To Trap a Spy (1964) and ends with the 6 p.m. showing of How to Steal the World (1968). Don’t forget to set our TiVo.

There was a lovely radio play on BBC Radio 4 today "Solo Behind the Iron Curtain" about Robert Vaughn's adventures in Czechoslovakia in 1968, whilst filming "The Bridge at Remagen".
Vaughn, naturally, plays himself, with some excellent Brit actors taking the parts of George Segal and Bradford Dillman. Highly recommended if you can get the BBC's internet "Listen Again" service.
