As the site explains, Abbott “talks about the slippery definition of noir, the women of noir (both those who write/wrote it and the characters in it), and the new anthology A Hell of a Woman: An Anthology of Female Noir. We also discuss Queenpin’s Broadway musical potential and the best way to get those pesky bloodstains out of your favorite cocktail dress.” The pair talk, too, about how a current lack of faith in public institutions and government may be contributing to renewed interest in noir fiction.
