Is This a Dagger Which I See Before Me?

Thanks to the wonders of technology (i.e., Rap Sheet contributor Ali Karim at the London presentation ceremony with a cell phone in his hand), we’ve just received this year’s list of Dagger Award winners. These prestigious commendations are, of course, given out by the British Crime Writers’ Association (CWA).

And now to the winners, with a couple of commendations worth mentioning as well:

Sobbering up, hic, hic -

Didn't hit the bed until 4am - and head like the size of a hungover Alaska...thanks to HarperCollins serving Champagne to celebrate Mr MacBride's win, then onto Hard Scotch thanks to Mr MacBride.....Will issue a full report later

A great night, full of Adventure and Alcohol shared with my partner-in-crime Mr Stotter.

You didn't mention that the early part of the evening could have easily been a scene from Taxi Driver (cryptic to anyone else but Ali will tell you all later).
