Suddenly, serialized crime novels seem to be everywhere. Robert Ferrigno’s “Double Strike” concluded its four-part run in today’s Seattle Times. (You’ll find those four parts here, here, here, and here.) Gary Phillips’ fortnightly urban thriller, “The Underbelly,” just started off at FourStory.org. And now Philadelphia novelist Duane Swierczynski (Severence Package, The Blonde) is launching a three-part “short noir story” called “Sidewalk Tiger” in the alternative weekly he edits, Philly’s City Paper.
The first installment can be found here.
