Most of this Monday found yours truly being torn to pieces by conflicting assignments and responsibilities from several sources. So only now am I able to draw attention to Bryon Quertermous and Dave White’s third big Blog Short Story Project. As Gerald So reminds me, the “first blog story project was nicknamed ‘Junk in the Trunk.’ The second, about items sold at police auctions, was called ‘Going Twice.’” For this third try at communal, coordinated online fiction, Quertermous and White solicited stories that have to do with blogging. Twenty tales have been posted by 20 bloggers, at 20 different locations, including an excellent entry from The Rap Sheet’s own Anthony Rainone and a why-didn’t-everyone-think-of-this-approach? yarn by Bill Crider, who decided to construct his story as a series of blog entries.
