Presenting the Evidence

I shall be filing a couple of extended reports about this weekend’s Left Coast Crime convention in Seattle. But for now, I only have time to post a couple of my favorite shots from the opening day’s festivities. The top one shows me (on the right) with novelist Gary Phillips, before our onstage conversation on Saturday morning. The lower photo features four Rap Sheet contributors: (left to right) David Thayer, Megan Abbott, yours truly, and Linda L. Richards. (Sorry, I would have used a photo with everyone’s eyes open, but Linda’s were closed in both versions of this latter shot.)
