I’ve been so busy schmoozing with crime novelists and other reviewers over the last few days, that I failed to mention that The Rap Sheet has been taking on board new contributors. These include not only Megan Abbott, who enjoyed her guest-blogging stint so much that she’s decided to stick around, but also Jim Winter, Cincinnati blogger and author of the 2005 novel Northcoast Shakedown. Jim’s indoctrination into the blog came with no fireworks; he got straight to work covering last weekend’s Love Is Murder convention in Chicago (see here and here). Also, David Thayer, a fellow Seattle resident, who’s already penned reviews for January Magazine, has been convinced to pitch in at The Rap Sheet. You should see his work appear here soon.
I welcome all three of these recruits, and hope that you’ll benefit from their knowledge, insights, and good humor in the future.
