The
Independent Mystery Booksellers Association has announced its nominees for the 2007 Dilys Award, named in honor of Dilys Winn, the founder of New York City’s
now-deceased Murder Ink 
bookstore. This commendation honors the book that IMBA members most enjoyed selling during the previous year. And the nominees are:
• Billy Boyle, by James R. Benn (Soho)
• Holmes on the Range, by Steve Hockensmith (St. Martin’s Minotaur)
• The Mournful Teddy, by John J. Lamb (Berkley Prime Crime)
• Still Life, by Louise Penny (St. Martin’s Minotaur)
• The Virgin of Small Plains, by
Nancy Pickard (Ballantine)
• The Thirteenth Tale, by Diane Setterfield (Atria)
The Dilys winner will be announced during the Left Coast Crime convention, to be held in Seattle, February 1-4.
