I’ve commented previously on Hard Case Crime’s terrific pulp-style paperback covers. But it wasn’t until today that I realized this well-regarded publisher has also applied its artwork--or at least its company logo--to T-shirts, golf shirts, mousepads, messenger bags, and, yes, even women’s thongs.

I agree with Nathan Cain at Independent Crime, who writes that he would be much more inclined to purchase coffee mugs or other articles stamped with Hard Case Crime cover illustrations. His picks are this and this; I’d pay good money to see this, this, or this decorating a cup or camisole.
