OK, I confess to not having been a fan of the 1996 Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez film, From Dusk Till Dawn. (A heist movie that suddenly turns into a vampire flick? Holy Cecile B.! Even Salma Hayek, with her super-seductive snake dance, couldn’t save such a ludicrous story.) And I probably won’t actually see the latest joint venture from those same two guys, a zombie/slasher flick titled Grindhouse. However, Duane Swierczynski’s enthusiastic touting at least got me to watch the movie’s trailer, and I wasn’t disappointed. Not one bit. I mean, how many times will you see the curvaceous Rose McGowan strapping on a prosthetic missile-launcher?
