Saluting Scrivenor

In other news today of crime-fiction prizes, we hear from In Reference to Murder that winners have been selected in this year’s Lambda Literary Awards (aka Lammys) contest.

Australian author and former writers festival director Hayley Scrivenor’s psychological thriller, Dirt Creek (Flatiron, 2022)—which has previously been nominated for a boatload of other international honors—has now triumphed in the Lambda LGBTQ+ Mystery bracket. Vying in that same category were A Death in Berlin, by David C. Dawson (Park Creek); And There He Kept Her, by Joshua Moehling (Poisoned Pen Press); Dead Letters from Paradise, by Ann McMan (Bywater); and Lavender House, by Lev A.C. Rosen (Forge).
