Volunteer State Veneration

A number of things seem to have slipped past my notice lately, among them the announcement of which books and authors won the 2025 Silver Falchion Awards and Claymore Awards. Those prizes—including a few that honor works in the crime, mystery, and thriller fiction category—were dispensed during this year’s Killer Nashville International Writers’ Conference, which took place in Tennessee from August 21 to 24.
