Come on, who really believes singer Taylor Swift could’ve found time in her hectic schedule to pen a novel that’s said to “reinvent the spy genre”? Yet that’s evidently a rumor being spread by her fans.
Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper parses clues that may unmask the author behind Argylle (Bantam), a book supposedly by elusive newcomer “Elly Conway.” The work isn’t due out on both sides of the Atlantic until January 2024, but it has already been adapted into a film of the same name by director Matthew Vaughn (The King’s Men). Featuring a cast headlined by Henry Cavill and Bryce Dallas Howard, that picture will be released in the United States on February 2.
Will the argyle-loving Ms. Swift be revealed by then as the mastermind behind Conway’s tale? Keep your eyes open for more news!
