Silver Specials

Organizers of this year’s Killer Nashville convention, set to take place in Franklin, Tennessee, from August 17 to 20, have released their lists of nominees for the 2022 Silver Falchion Awards.

There are 17 categories of contestants this year, covering everything from adventure fiction and science fiction to historical yarns and juvenile tales. Below are the contenders for Best Mystery:

• Innocent Spouse, by Leonard Getz (Conservatarian Press)
• Pesticide, by Kim Hays (Seventh Street)

• The Secret in the Wall, by Ann Parker (Poisoned Pen Press)
• A Deadly Covenant, by Michael Stanley (White Sun)
• The It Girl, by Ruth Ware (Gallery/Scout Press)
• Cause for Elimination, by Marla A. White (Wild Rose Press)
• The Bone Records, by Rich Zahradnik (1000 Words A Day Press)
