I’m taking a brief break from my New Year’s vacation to remind Rap Sheet readers in the United States that tomorrow, Sunday, January 9, will bring the debut of Vienna Blood’s second season on PBS-TV.
As was true of the introductory season of this British-Austrian psychological thriller, the follow-up series comprises three 90-minute episodes, all starring Matthew Beard as Max Liebermann, a clever young doctor and Sigmund Freud follower in early 1900s Vienna, and Jürgen Maurer as Detective Inspector Oskar Reinhardt, to whom Liebermann offers aid in solving crimes. The show aired in the UK last month. You can watch a preview of Series 2 here.
Look for Vienna Blood tomorrow on PBS at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT.
