If you haven’t already entered your nominations in blogger Jen Forbus’ “Heroes and Villains” bracketed tourney, be sure to do so here in advance of the cut-off date this coming Sunday.
Furthermore, notes Forbus, “those villains need some help. Quite a few people have opted to nominate their favorite hero but not a villain, but you know a great crime novel is nothing without a great villain, so think hard and offer up some antagonists who really gave you chills or nightmares or heart palpitations! There are still some significant villains missing from the list.”
There are also, undoubtedly, a few choice crime-fiction villains who aren’t obvious choices. They deserve mention in this poll, too.
