Shamus on You!

Our man in the street, J. Kingston Pierce, reports directly from San Francisco tonight that the following books and authors have won the 2010 Shamus Awards, bestowed by the Private Eye Writers of America in recognition of the private eye genre and its writers.

Best Hardcover P.I. Novel: Locked In, by Marcia Muller (Grand Central)

In addition, the Hammer Award for Best Character went to Marcia Muller’s series private eye, Sharon McCone.
