Getting Away with Tardiness, Too

Better late than never, I guess. Mike Ripley’s June “Getting Away with Murder” column has finally been posted in Shots. In it, he tweaks duplicate titles, admits to having read James Joyce-related crime fiction but never the author’s monumental Ulysses, anticipates the British debut of a novel by Elmore Leonard’s son, and welcomes Inspector Ghote back to the publishing scene.
