I’m frequently amazed by The Rap Sheet’s minor renown, the fact that so many readers seem to know it exists, given how many crime-fiction-related blogs exist out there. Now I find myself truly humbled by my discovery today that The Rap Sheet is one of only two obviously crime-fiction-oriented sites given links on “the official blog of Penguin Books UK.” The other link is to the British Webzine Shots.
While I was cruising through the Penguin blog, I noticed that it is also making a big deal of its new more sensationally illustrated paperback editions of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes novels. If these covers don’t catch the eye, nothing will.
