“And These Days, Everyone Is a Detective”

I mentioned previously on this page that Agatha Christie’s amateur detectives Tommy and Tuppence, introduced in 1922’s The Secret Adversary, are to be revived in a six-part, modern-day mystery drama set to begin airing on BritBox come Tuesday, September 15. But now we have a new, slightly longer trailer for the series—embedded above—which stars Antonia Thomas as “spirited actress” Tuppence, with Josh Dylan playing crime writer Tommy Beresford. The seemingly ubiquitous Imelda Staunton (The Crown) has been cast as Aunt Ada, “a wry, retired private detective and mentor.”
