Congratulations Are in Order

Omnimystery News reports that
Arnaldur Indridason has won the 2013 RBA International Prize for Crime Writing for his book Skuggasund. In addition to the honor of winning the Spanish award, he will receive €125,000.

Skuggasund, which loosely translates into Silhouette Swimming, will be published in November in the author’s native Icelandic and in Spanish; no date has been set for an English translation of the book.
