What, No Mothra?

I was never a fan of Lester Dent’s mid-20th-century pulp hero, Doc Savage. But I am certainly interested in book jacket art. So I was intrigued to discover this gallery of fantasy Savage covers, pairing “the Man of Bronze” with classic monstrous menaces. Maybe some modern author should take on the responsibility of writing these imagined yarns. It would be a shame not to use the covers, after all.
