Gittes Up!

Now, this is a DVD duo I’d love to have in my library. (Is it too early to make up my Christmas list?) Jeremy Lynch reports in his Crimespree Cinema blog that Paramount Home Entertainment will release “Special Collector’s Editions” of the 1974 Jack Nicholson private-eye film, Chinatown, and its sequel, The Two Jakes (1990), on November 6. It looks like there will be lots of special featurettes on these DVDs, too. Hot diggity.
