Marketing and “new media” exec Scott Monty, author of
The Baker Street Blog, alerts us to the launching last month of
I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere, “a podcast for devotees of Mr. Sherlock Holmes, the world’s first unofficial consulting detective.” This fortnightly program’s title obviously derives from a line spoken by Sherlock’s corpulent elder sibling, Mycroft, in “
The Adventure of the Greek Interpreter” (1893). It’s being hosted by Monty and his fellow Holmes enthusiast Burt Wolder, and has only two episodes in the can so far. They’re pretty fun, even for folks who aren’t diehard Sherlock fans, and can be listened to
here.
